Air-air heat exchanger
Hot and humid air enters the air-to-air heat exchanger, where it exchanges heat in the total counterflow with the existing cold air. Pre-cooling saves energy by reducing the heat load to the evaporator area. The cold, dry compressed air flows through the secondary side of the air-to-air heat exchanger, where it is reheated by the hot supply air that pre-cools it.
