Oil and gas industry applications with skid industrial nitrogen generators
include nitrogen purging and inerting during maintenance and shutdown of pipelines and storage tanks to prevent the formation of flammable atmospheres, as well as nitrogen blanketing to prevent oxidation and maintain the quality of stored oil and gas. Skid industrial nitrogen generators can also be used for enhanced oil recovery by injecting nitrogen into reservoirs to maintain pressure and improve production rates. Additionally, nitrogen can be used for well stimulation and hydraulic fracturing operations in the oil and gas industry.
